HRVATSKI NARODNI DOM SENIOR GROUP PERFORMANCE

April 20th, 2008 our Senior group will be performing at their concert.  If any member is not able to attend the performance please let the teacher and/or your VP know so that they can arrange accordingly.  

CONCERT- SUNDAY April 20, 2008 - Senior. group performs at:

BISHOP RYAN HIGH SCHOOL   50 ALBRIGHT RD., HAMILTON

Please arrive by 1pm latest.  Concert starts at 1:30.

Parents attending entrance is $ 15.00 to the concert.  Our performers are free.

BANQUET – SATURDAY April 19, 2008 at

          Croatian National Home     1925 –A Barton Street E., Hamilton

Doors open at 6pm, dinner at 7pm

Tickets are $ 30.00 for adults, Children 10-16 $ 10.00 children under 10 yrs and performers free.

If you are attending both banquet and concert the cost is $ 40.00/person (Adults).

REZANCE NIGHT

Thanks to all those parents & members who helped out with the Rezance for the concert banquet.  Your help was much appreciated.

OUR CONCERT

For those of you who have not signed up to assist please do so soon.  We will need everyone to bring in BAKED GOODS and/or a TOMBOLA prize for the event. 

Please let your VP know which is your preference.

Performance:  Holy Trinity Secondary School  2420 Sixth Line, Oakville Performers are to be

there at 2:00 THE LATEST. Performance starts at 3:00 sharp.   

Mass:  6:00p.m. at Holy Trinity Church

Banquet:  7:00p.m. – Church hall

Hrvatsko Prelo will be performing on Saturday May 17th for the festival.  We are the sixth group to perform and are before intermission.  Please keep this in mind when making travel arrangements.

EXTRA PRACTICES

We will be having MANDATORY festival practices.  ALL INTERMEDIATES, SENIORS AND Y.A. ARE REQUIRED TO BE THERE.  The dates are as follows:

MONDAY MAY 5th, - 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

MONDAY MAY 12th , - 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

There will also be an EXTRA ZELKJO PRACTICE on THURSDAY MAY 15TH AT 6:00 -  7:30 P.M.

Table Sponsorships will be due by the end of First week of April, so that the book can be printed.  Any sponsors received thereafter, will be inserts in the book.

Sign up sheet for jobs for the event will be at each practice from now on until the week before the event.

Everyone’s help and co-operation is appreciated and needed.

GUEST GROUP: We will have a guest group from Winnipeg coming for our concert and will be asking families to take in two of their members during their stay.  Families with YAs same age & gender as those coming will be asked.

ZELJKO SEMINAR

The seminar last weekend went well. Zeljko was pleased and impressed with our kids.  Thank you all who attended.
